The AXIS Q36 Series is a line of high-performance dome cameras designed for robust surveillance applications. These cameras are equipped with advanced features to ensure superior image quality, ease of use, and enhanced security.
Image Quality
The series includes models with 4 MP (AXIS Q3626-VE) and 8 MP (AXIS Q3628-VE) resolutions, providing outstanding image quality and forensic details even in low light conditions. Technologies like Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR ensure true colors and great detail in challenging lighting environments.
Remote PTRZ Functionality
These cameras feature remote pan-tilt-roll-zoom (PTRZ) functionality, allowing users to adjust and readjust the camera view remotely over the network. This capability saves time and money on installation, maintenance, and operation by eliminating the need for on-site technician visits.
Advanced Analytics
Built on the latest Axis system-on-chip (SoC) with a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), the cameras support advanced analytics on the edge. This includes AXIS Object Analytics for detecting and classifying moving objects, and the ability to collect and analyze more data directly on the camera.
Robust Design
The cameras are IK10-rated for vandal resistance and are designed to withstand tough environments and rough weather. They include electronic image stabilization to ensure smooth video in situations where the camera is subject to vibrations.
Cybersecurity Features
The cameras come with built-in cybersecurity measures such as Axis Edge Vault, which protects the device ID and simplifies the authorization of Axis products on the network. They also offer secure key storage with FIPS 140-2 level 2 certification to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard the system.

The AXIS Q3626-VE model, for example, has a CMOS image sensor, a maximum video resolution of 2688×1512, and supports up to 50/60 frames per second. It also includes features like remote focus and zoom, local storage (memory card slot), and is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -50 to 55 °C.
